This page explains what we collect when you register with winemarkets.ai, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible for your data
Data controller: Silvanos Sp. z o.o., ul. Kazimierza Wielkiego 7/5, 65-047 Zielona Góra, Polska. Contact: our public contact.
What we collect at registration
- Company name, country, business e-mail and product category (required).
- Website, contact person, and answers about your existing distributor/agent situation (optional).
- The consent text you clicked, the version of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in force at that moment, and the timestamp.
- An optional, separate marketing-contact consent (a checkbox, unchecked by default): whether you tick it or not, we log the consent text you saw, its version and the timestamp, the same way as the other consents above — only the resulting yes/no is different.
- Technical data at the moment of registration and confirmation: IP address and browser user-agent.
- Event log: when the confirmation e-mail was sent, when the confirmation link was clicked, when the sample was issued, and any unsubscribe/withdrawal.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
We use this data to send you one confirmation e-mail, to release the free sample after you confirm through double opt-in, and — if you ask — to respond about the paid package. The legal basis is your consent, given at registration and confirmed by clicking the link in the confirmation e-mail. We keep the registration and consent log so we can demonstrate what you agreed to and when, and to detect and prevent abuse of the registration form.
Marketing contact is a separate purpose, on a separate legal basis: if you also tick the optional marketing-contact consent, we use your e-mail to send you occasional messages about suppliers, buyers and market updates relevant to your registration. The legal basis is that separate consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) — ticking it is never required to register or to receive the free sample. We keep sending until you withdraw it, using the link in any marketing message or by writing to the contact address above; withdrawing it does not end your registration or affect your access to the free sample — see “Withdrawing consent” in our Terms of Service for the full picture, including how to close your registration entirely.
We do not sell or pass your registration data to third parties, and we don't use it for anything beyond what is described here.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration and consent log for as long as you're registered with us. Our log is append-only — withdrawing consent adds an event to it rather than erasing anything. If you ask us to delete your data, we remove your contact data and keep only an anonymous record that consent was given and withdrawn, for our own compliance record — see “Your rights” below.
Your rights
- You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message from us, or by writing to the contact address above.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data. A deletion request removes your contact data while keeping an anonymous record that consent was given and withdrawn, for our own compliance record.
- Our registration and consent log is append-only: withdrawing consent adds an event to the record rather than erasing the earlier one.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use third-party analytics or tracking scripts. The registration form uses only what is needed to keep your session while you fill it in; page-visit counts, if any, are measured on our own server, not through a tracker in your browser.
